You Too Could Be a Driving Instructor

The DSA Recommendation is 60 hours worth of training for a trainee License holder.

The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) and the driver training industry have a single register of suitably qualified and inspected driving instructor trainers and training businesses. We will organise your local training and give you all the information you need to become an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).

We work with your nearest inspected trainer who is DSA Authorised and is on the Official Register of Driving Instructor Training (ORDIT) directory.

The Training areas will lead you to the exams you need to pass to become an instructor. These are:

1 - ADI Part 1 (the written exam)
2 - ADI Part 2 (the driving ability test)
3 - ADI Part 3 (the instructional ability test)
R - ADI Retraining
